If you haven’t felt yet the big news, Netflix just opened its doors for the Philippines, the world’s leading internet tv network can now be accessed anytime and anywhere if you are in the Philippines. It means that you are no longer required to buy a subscription for a VPN network access just to watch originals series by Netflix, movies, TV series, drama and documentary.

Netflix now accepts PH subscribers since it was launched locally months ago, and this time, Netflix marketing goes full blast in Manila, to introduce more about their service, their content and how pinoys can enjoy streaming video content anytime and anywhere.

Its better than Youtube, and other streaming services, because Netflix is optimized automatically based on your internet connection. I’ve tried several streaming services before and I can say that trying Netflix’s connection and streaming power is very life changing. I’m not a Netflix fan before, but when I first logged and registered my account last May 1, 2016, I can say that it got us hooked right away because we can watch series, movies, and docu without any commercial interruptions or buffering lag.

We’re using 2MBPS connection at home and loading the HD content on our TV and tablets are fast vs. other streaming services. No hassle encountered and we’re happy that our Sony Bravia is Netflix ready, viewing movies has taken us to the next level.

so good bye to download and torrents.

You can now watch video content legally by paying PHP300+ and above for a monthly subscription.

There are lots of things that I didn’t know about Netflix, at their roadshow in Makati, I learned that Netflix can stream ULTRA HD 4K content.

Now that’s answer for all 4K fans, who always ask question about the use of a 4K ready TV. You can load this content via a high speed internet and hook it up with a TV, tablet or stream it via a PS4 console.

Daredevil series helped Netflix be popular once again, in this age of social media and internet, many people got hooked watching Daredevil, it’s a Netflix original series and you can only watch the entire Season 1 and 2 only in Netflix. For us geeks, we consider Daredevil Netflix series as the best TV adaptation of a comic book series.

I admit that I downloaded the 1st season, because I don’t have Netflix yet and its not yet available in the Philippines, but when I learned that Netflix is now ready for the Philippines, I immediately stopped all my download plans and grabbed my own subscription at Netflix.

They have a 1 month FREE subscription for first time users, it’s a trial program with 1 month free use of their service, you can cancel if you don’t want to continue the subscription, but you can come back if you plan to watch a new Daredevil series, for example Season 3.

For first time users, you are eligible to get 1 month free subscription

Then you will be charged automatically after 1 month, and auto renew for another month

During my 1st registration, I applied for the BASIC package, that’s PHP 370 per month of Netflix. But when I viewed the video through our Sony smart TV, I got disappointed that it can stream SD quality format, so I managed to return to my account setting and Im glad that there’s an option that you can change your plan, so I switch my plan to STANDARD, which pays PHP 460 to stream HD content.

Im happy with the HD quality that was provided by Netflix, the streaming and buffering is so fast and we’re just using 2MBPS at home with DATA CAP hahahaha.
